shhhhhhh

Sophie slept in her big girl bed in her OWN room last night, and didn't wake up once! Me, well I slept like crap :) I was so worried that she would wake up and freak out or that I wouldn't hear her that I was up and down all night. To tell the truth I kind of missed that little stinker-bell sleeping next to me.......

Yay Sophie! Isn't it funny when our kids are more ready than we are. Hope you sleep better tonight mommy and that your little love continues to enjoy her new room.

hope this is her new trend - being able to sleep in her room.
Hope you get some rest also!

I know what you mean - the first two or three nights of every one of my babies transferring into their own beds was worse for me than the waking in the middle of the night to roll over and nurse them. And when Li'l Empress transitioned out of our room (in her pack n' play as sleeping with us kept us all awake - little extrovert to the max!), I slept terribly again. But now? She'd been up several times a night for the last two weeks or so, and now that that hump has been hurdled and cleared, I'm still not sleeping well. Humph!

Woot. I have a feeling mama will get her groove on with the new sleeping routine soon enough.

that's great...Emily is back in our room. Daddy changed to night shift and we are starting all over, but I do have her in a toddler bed beside me...........

Yes, that is standard. We spend so much time trying to get them into their own beds and then once we succeed, wanting them back! Lucky for me, my 13-yr-old still likes to plunk down in the middle of her dad and I to watch tv...then moves up to her room at bedtime. So we still get lots of snuggle time!
