I just finished reading Kay Bratts book Silent Tears. As difficult as this book is to read EVERY parent who has adopted or is adopting from China needs to take the time to read this book! ( matter of fact anyone who has adopted internationally needs to read this book.) I am giving away a copy. Please leave a comment and I will enter your name. I will pick the winner using this. I will post the name of the winners blog on Monday night. The author as a blog, you can visit it here.

I'd love to win this. I've had so many good reports on it and I ran out of time to read before we got to China. Did you know Kay Bratt stopped by my blog this week? It was sooooo cool - a real author telling me my baby is beautiful :) She's right of course. :) And I am gloriously biased, I know!
I have been wanting to read this book. I totally agree with you it should be a must read for all of us IA families. I am sure it will be a hard read but so necessary.
I am always looking for a great read. Thanks for the heads up. I am going to order it, so don't bother putting me in for the drawing.
How ya been??? Missing you and those beautiful girls!!!!!!!!
I'm reading it now...it IS a tough one. The important stuff often is.
I have been reading her blog, and have been meaning to order it, and just have not gotten it done.
I am really torn in my desire to read it before our referral, as it makes me wonder how much more I will worry and fear for our daughter...but think it is important to know the reality.
thanks for spreading the word on her, and you should check out her blog if you haven't already.
Pick me! Pick me! LOL!
But seriously... this is on my to buy list too. So sign me up.
This was on my list as well - I'm in. I didn't know about her website - going to check it out.
